A consultation is simply a quick discussion to see if you need an attorney and if we’re a good fit. If so, we’ll discuss parameters moving forward. If not, we’ll either give you the guidance needed or refer you to a person better suited to help with your needs.
Our fee structure depends on the type of case and how complex it is. Depending on the case, we may quote a flat fee or a retainer. A flat fee is a fixed, pre-determined price for a service regardless of the time spent on that service. A retainer is a payment a client makes up front for the attorney to bill from as the attorney works the case. There are benefits to each structure, and we will discuss and provide a cost analysis during the consultation.

We use various ways to keep clients updated, ranging anywhere from emails to scheduled in-office meetings, depending on the complexity of the update. Our promise to you is to always keep you updated on your matter. We understand that legal issues are stressful, and we’re here to help.

Communication is key! We must be able to reach you in order to effectively represent you. If you don’t check your emails often but always check your texts, let us know! We’re willing to work with what works for you.
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and checks. We understand that life happens (and is expensive!). We set up payment plans frequently, and can discuss this during the initial consultation.
